Here you will find a brief outline of who we are and the services we are able to provide, but the best way for us to help you is to meet with you in person. As an independent company, we pride ourselves on being small enough to be personal, yet capable enough to handle any project, from individual investments and life insurance to large company 401(k) retirement portfolio management.
Scott Bulmer
Scott Bulmer began his financial advising career with New York Life in 1996. In 2011 he became an independent agent forming Bulmer Financial Group. Scott has been a registered representative since 1998, holding his Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Scott is married to Gwynn (Thurman) Bulmer and the two have been happily married for more than 47 years. They have two married children and three wonderful grandchildren. Their daughter Stephanie owns and runs the Pilates Nook in Edmond, Oklahoma, and their son Jared joined Bulmer Financial Group in 2015.
Scott is a board member of Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He and Gwynn are both members of the Oakcrest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. An ardent fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Scott also enjoys SCUBA diving, hiking, and fishing. You can reach Scott at scott@bulmerfinancial.com.

Jared Bulmer
Jared Bulmer holds a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University and a Masters Degree from Rice University. Trained as a classical musician, Jared has performed with world-class orchestras across the globe and has served on the music faculty at two universities. After 10 years working as a musician and music educator in Chicago, Jared moved to Oklahoma in 2015 to join the team at Bulmer Financial Group.
As an educator, Jared enjoyed communicating concepts and watching his students grow as they learned and synthesized new information. One of the driving factors that led Jared to join Bulmer Financial Group was a desire to translate the skills he had developed as an educator into a new discipline. Jared is excited to be part of a field that guides individuals in achieving security and peace of mind by helping them make informed and thoughtful decisions as they navigate the complexities of the financial world. As a registered representative, he currently holds a Series 6, 63, and 65, as well as a life and health insurance license.

Austin Hughes
Austin Hughes joined Bulmer Financial Group in 2018 after serving as the Director of Payroll and Benefits at Oklahoma Christian for four years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University in business management and a master’s degree in finance and human resources from Oklahoma Christian University.
In addition to serving as a city councilman for the city of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Austin is also a board member of Camp LuJo KISMIF near Lawton, Oklahoma. He serves as the director of “Strive Week”, a youth camp session that provides spiritual learning to more than 100 students each summer. He is also currently serving on the Tuttle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Austin is married to Kelly, the owner of Kelly Hughes Consulting, a public relation firm serving many clients in the OKC area. Emily Evans
Emily Evans is the most recent addition to Bulmer Financial Group, having started in March of 2020. As office manager she handles the day-to-day operations, back-office system management, appointment scheduling, and is that friendly voice you hear on the phone when you call us! She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in 2017 and has spent the last eight years in customer service roles.
